Padded Waistcoat in 90/10 goose down with Fill Power 700, from the B Sustainable line.
The feathers are certified Responsible Down Standard.
This ensures respectful treatment of animals and allows the feathers to be traced by applying a code to the garment.
The padding ensures natural thermoregulation.
The fabric is Smart Flannel, a wool flannel which has undergone treatment to make it water-repellent.
The Smart Flannel fabric is 100% ZQ-certified New Zealand merino wool.
This means that this wool is made of the highest quality fibres and is fully traceable right to the source of the supply chain.
It makes sure that the animals are respected, for example by following a mulesing-free process and allowing the sheep to live in wide open spaces.
The manufacturing processes are also environmentally sustainable: each source farm follows a specific environmental impact management plan.
Work on the farms is ethically managed, to ensure the well-being of the worker and the community as well as the health and safety of the work spaces.
The lining is 50 denier ripstop from Pertex, a leading manufacturer of ultralight ripstop.
The water-repellent, windproof and highly breathable fabric is made from recycled fabric and Bluesign® APPROVED.
